The One X+ is an upgraded version of the popular HTC One X with enhanced hardware and software in a slightly tweaked design.
First off, the processor has been upgraded to a very fast quad-core 1.7GHz with 1GB of RAM which HTC says is 67% faster than the original One X, the new One X+ also comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed and features an upgraded front facing camera at 1.6 mega pixels with 720p HD video support alongside its rear facing 8 mega pixel lens with full HD video capture.
The front of the phone is dominated by a 720 x 1280p Super LCD 2 HD display covered in a Gorilla Glass 2 coating and to make the phone recognisable from the One X it has red accents which tie in nicely with the Beats Audio music technology inside.
The phones internal memory has been doubled to 64GB (non expandable) plus HTC are partnered with DropBox which entitles you to a further 25GB of storage free for 2 years!
Connections are made with Wi-Fi, 3.5G networks (you'll need to opt for the HTC One XL for 4G speeds), Bluetooth, USB, GPS and NFC and the phone measures 134 x 70 x 8.9mm at 135g with a new, larger 2100mAh battery powering everything.
What we think of the HTC One X+:This is a very impressive upgrade to the One X without tampering too much with what many consider the ideal design for a smart phone, the good sized (but not too big) HD display is great for viewing video and pictures, surfing the internet and gaming and the new quad-core beast of a processing chip makes sure everything runs at super-fast and super-smooth speeds.
The inclusion of Beats Audio is great for those that like to listen to high-quality music on the go and the latest version of the Android software means no fiddly updates are needed.
The HTC One X+ is a top-end all-rounder with a robust but sleek design and plenty on offer to entertain even the most demanding mobile user.
