dont take any notice of the video it is misleading and not true,i dropped the phone in a bucket of water 2" deep by accident it was in the water for no more then 5 seconds it did not work again. i contacted JCB customer services and they said it was water resistant not water proof (dont no what the difference is)but they fobbed me off and i am now left with a phone two day old no refund and dont work, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE IT DOES NOT DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE BOX | ||

Only kept this phone 3 days as it would nt connect to my cars bluetooth, tried a second phone just the same.the help off JCB was you phone us on our 0844 No. and you can tell us your wont work and pay extra for the call. Carphone w/house just the opposite and did what JCB should have done an and told me the phone wont work with some car bluetooths, now happy with my new Nokia | ||

bought jcb pro talk please please dont bother have to download user manual couldnt get 2 way radio to work customer services joke! joke! data select you should be ashamed they never return your call.... a rubbish product stay well clear so far £50 calling their customer services no joy with 2 way radio | ||

ive had this phone to replace my old philips savvy brick that was a great phone. this jcb tough phone is ***t hot its tough as the name says people forget what a mobile is for phoning and txts keep it simple get the tough phone if you can live without namby pamby phones seriously recommended | ||

Well what can i say. the other day whilst at work i had the misfortune to drop my mobile right in one of the bays we have for unloading our goods. by the time i realised i had dropped it a forklift had parked a huge pallet of stock on it . . . . . i found it due to the fact my missus was phoning me and i must say i was real suprised it was still in one piece. if it was a standard phone i would have been sweeping it up. fair play jcb. | ||

I work in the construction industry and bought a JCB phone about a month ago. It does the job to a degree but I have a few issues with it, such as the screen size is too small and it should be full colour. I miss a camera as well because I have to carry one with me in the van now. I think JCB have concentrated too much on making it over tough and forgotten about the actual operation of the phone. A friend has bought a Duraphone Q800 which does everything a JCB should. Loads better and cheaper, I am going to swap my JCB for one. | ||

Having used this phone for less than 30min, i was only impressed with the design, as it tough, and ideal for what i want. The software is is rubbish, and not user friendly. Improvement can be make, and example of Nokia 6230i can be taken onboard. If this improvements can be done immediately, than the phone will be appealling to trade persons. At present it is only appealling to civilian. Awaiting improvements | ||

I am really impressed with the JCB Tough Phone, I'm a chippy by trade and have got through so many so-called robust mobile phones over the past few years just by dropping, kicking and even throwing them. But this new JCB phone really is a robust little phone, I managed to drop it from a 3 storey roof the other day whilst erecting the trusses, the phone went straight down onto the road below and.........not a scratch! At last - a phone that lets me be as clumsy as I like. | ||
