The RAZRi is the first smart phone to introduce a super-speedy 2GHz processor in the form of an Intel Atom CPU (hence the 'i') and further improves on the features and design of the previous Motorola RAZR model.
Although sleek and slim, the original RAZR did have a large footprint and Motorola have now addressed this with an almost edge to edge screen design that provides dimensions of 60.9 x 122.5 x 8.3mm, the display is a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED advanced qHD panel and the same, high-quality KEVLAR fibre has been used in the phones construction along with a water resistant coating to protect against splashes.
Running the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software, Motorola have promised an update to the 4.1 Jelly Bean edition, this means that the usual connection methods are available including Wi-Fi, 3.5G support, USB 2.0, Bluetooth and GPS with Google Maps plus a whole host of other Google apps plus thousands more vailable from the Google Play Shop.
Inside there's 8GB of memory which can be expanded with MicroSD cards up to 32GB for storing photos and videos from the 8 mega pixel camera (shooting full HD), music tracks and games, all of this is powered by a large 2000mAh battery which offers extended life thanks to Motorola's SMARTACTIONS app.
What we think of the Motorola RAZRi:This is a big improvement over the original RAZR using clever design to offer the same popular screen size but with a far slimmer and sleeker body, the manufacturing materials are of premium quality and the slash-proof coating gives an extra sense of confidence.
The new 2GHz processor helps you to seamlessly zip through tasks, watch video and play games uninterrupted plus speedily surf the web with ease, the large battery guarantees a great standby time alongside the SMARTACTIONS application which allows you to control how your phone uses its power.
All in all the Motorola RAZRi is a high-quality, super-speedy, slim and sleek smart phone that is well priced for those looking for something a little different to Samsung and HTC Android phones.
