The Lumia 610 is an entry-level Nokia Windows Phone 7.5 device with a very affordable price tag but still offers many of the same features found in the higher specification models like the Nokia Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900.
Powered by an 800MHz processor with 256MB of RAM the Nokia Lumia 610 features the same size 3.7 inch screen as the 710 and 800 models with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and a 5 mega pixel camera with a range of imaging options including face detection, red eye reduction and LED flash. The phone connects using Wi-Fi, fast 3.5G data support, Bluetooth and GPS and offers an 8GB internal memory and good sized 1300mAh battery with up to 9.5 hours of talk time and 30 days of standby.
Compact, sleek and lightweight at 119 x 62 x 12mm and 132g the Lumia 610 offers access to the Windows Marketplace for a choice of thousands of new applications as well as a range of Nokia's own titles including the Nokia Music and Radio apps plus Nokia Drive which does not need a 3G signal for sat nav by allowing you to download maps for your journey.
What we think of the Nokia Lumia 610:An affordable, stylish and very capable Windows Phone 7.5 handset, the Nokia Lumia 610 is an ideal phone for those watching their pennies but wanting the features of the Windows operating software in highee specification models, we think that this device actually looks a lot more expensive and modern than the previous Lumia 710 and packs in a very similar feature set at an even cheaper price. The modern feel of the Windows OS with its 'Live Tiles' and smooth operation make this a very desirable handset which together with its vibrant colour schemes makes for an attractive, affordable and compact smart phone.
