The Galaxy SII Plus upgrades the original and best-selling Samsung Galaxy S2 by adding in Samsung's latest features but keeping the same form factor as the previous model.
Offering the exact same dimensions as the S2, the S2 Plus now features many of the new enhancements found in the Samsung Galaxy S3 but with a more compact and manageable 4.3 inch screen size, these features include S-Voice, Pop-Up Video, Smart Alert, Direct Call, Smart Stay and Voice Unlock.
Behind the 480 x 800 pixel Super AMOLED Plus screen is a powerful dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM, the Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) operating system, 8GB of expandable memory, Wi-Fi, 3.5G support, Bluetooth, USB and GPS with GLONASS.
The main rear camera is an 8 mega pixel unit offering full 1080p HD video capture, LED flash, Buddy Photo Share, Group Facetag and Face Zoom whilst the front facing camera is a 2 mega pixel lens for video calling, overall dimensions measure 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.5 mm with a 121g weight and an NFC version adds .04mm to the depth of the phone.

Many existing S2 owners have been put off by the sheer size of the 4.8 inch screen of the new Galaxy S3 and the lower specifications of the Galaxy S3 Mini, it looks like Samsung have now filled this gap, the sleek dimensions, power and lightweight design of the original S2 have transferred across to the new S2 Plus.The differences are subtle, this model is slightly heavier than the previous and packs a smaller memory to keep the price down, however the inclusion of Samsung's latest features inside a pocket friendly and powerful smart phone make this a very attractive offering.
